Just a "Touch" away

Few are aware of the Apple's iPod Touch. Yes, it's not quite the same as the iPhone, but, apart from not catering to calling, messaging and certain phone specific applications, it still does have a lot to boast about. Here is a quick look at some of those impressive features.
Music - Whatever said and done, it is an iPod, and it is with due respect that I therefore mention what it is primarily made for.
Photos - An impressive way to carry those photos which you wish to show off to others.
Videos - Allows you to store and share some of those clips that you'll always want to have with you.
Games - What with the Apple store playing host to a wide range of games, and with the Touch's motion sensors, gaming is indeed taken to a different level.
eBook Reader - Download the right application and you instantly have a handy reader. With a large number of books to choose from, and in addition being able to read word and PDF documents, the Touch might indeed be the reading solution we are looking for.
Internet - If only you get access to a wifi network, the Touch is all you'll need further. Be it surfing the net using safari, watching videos on YouTube, chatting on meebo (an excellent interface), checking the weather or the stocks, or searching that particular street on the map, the Touch has it all.
In fact, my last three posts (including this one) have been through the iPod Touch!
